Design a t-shirt for YALC

If you're a YA fan then how about designing a t-shirt for this year's YALC (YA Lit Con) (27-29 July) - and you could win a VIP Entrance to the event! You have until 4 May to send in your entry.

The competition is to help celebrate the 5th YALC conference, which forms part of London Film & Comic Con.

Authors including Juno Dawson, Katherine Webber, Frances Hardinge, Gayle Forman, Laura Dockrill, Jenny McLachlan and Holly Bourne will be taking part in this year's YALC.

The VIP pass prize includes tickets for you and a friend for the 3-Days of the event, priority seating at all talks and YALC merchandise goody bags - including your T-shirt design - and green room access!

The competition is open to all UK residents. To enter you'll need to create an image using just red, white and black on one of the background colours offered (see link, below). Your design will need to include the YALC logo, which can also be uploaded from the link (below). It must also be an illustrative design, not a photograph - and you can only send one entry.

Your image must be up to 28cm wide, and up to 40cm high and you'll need to upload a high res digital image (300dpi up to 25mb) of your work via the link, below.

The judges are looking for originality and creativity and the winning entry will be made into t shirts for YALC 2018, which will be pre-sold for the event.

You can find all the details of the competition here - good luck!
